• December 13, 2011 - Project bid letting

Future

• May 1, 2012 - Construction scheduled to start

Past

• July 1, 2011 - Final design completed
• March 8, 2011 - Initial project letting
  • Due to bid prices that were significantly higher than the construction costs Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) had anticipated, WisDOT decided not to award the bid this year.
  • Because of this, the roundabout project will not be constructed in 2011 as originally planned. WisDOT reevaluated the design of the roundabout and made modifications to the design to help reduce the construction cost.

2009

• October 12, 2009 - Environmental documentation completed
• July 31, 2009 - Preliminary design completed
• March 19, 2009 - PIM

2008

• May 14, 2008 - PIM
• January 23, 2008 - Meeting with Bayfield County officials
