Major projects financial status

The major projects financial status report (316 KB) details the current cost status and cost estimates for enumerated major highway projects. In accordance with state law (2003 Wisconsin Act 217), the financial status of major highway projects in Wisconsin will be updated every six months.

The report also provides information about potential major highway projects currently under environmental study. Each project study report details: an estimated study cost; the approximate length of the highway segment under study; the segment’s current annual average daily traffic (AADT); the need for, and status of the study.

WisDOT Secretary Frank Busalacchi has worked closely with the Legislature to enhance oversight of the Majors Program. The Department continues to take numerous steps to control costs and provide timely information on current and potential major projects.
