US 14 Reconstruction - Maps

There are a number of projects on US 14 in and around Madison. Some have been completed, others are under construction and others are being planned for the future:

Current construction projects - 2011

  • US 14 (US 12/18 and County MM) Resurfacing
  • US 14/WIS 138 Interchange Reconstruction and Construction
  • Existing Lacy Road Overpass and McCoy Road Interchange Reconstruction (City of Fitchburg project)

Future design projects

  • 2012 - Reconstruct the US 14/County MM interchange and the County MM and County M intersection.
  • On hold - US 14, between WIS 138 and WIS 92, will be reconstructed as a new two-lane, limited-access highway. At this time, this project design is on hold and it is unknown when it will move forward.

Completed projects

  • 2010 - City of Fitchburg resurfaced the 4-lane segment on McCoy Road in the interchange area.
  • 2009 - US 14, from County MM to WIS 138, was expanded from two to four lanes.
