WIS 29 pavement replacement scheduled to begin next week in Marathon County
August 20, 2014
Work to replace pavement near the WIS 29 bridges over the Big Rib River, located just west of the WIS 29/107 interchange, is currently scheduled to begin Monday, August 25.
Norcon Corporation is the prime contractor for the $517,000 project. Crews will replace the pavement about 40 feet east and 60 feet to the west of the bridges. Improvements include some work to the bridge abutments.
Construction is scheduled for completion by late October 2014.
Motorists on WIS 29 can expect to encounter single lane closures. Access to adjacent properties will be maintained throughout construction.
One hundred percent of the project will be paid for with state transportation funds.
