Public meeting for the replacement of WIS 98 bridges spanning Rock Creek and the Yellow River in Clark County

Meeting to focus on proposed improvements
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region in Eau Claire will be holding a public involvement meeting regarding a project that would replace the existing bridges over Rock Creek and the Yellow River along WIS 98 between Loyal and Spencer in Clark County The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25 at the Loyal Town Hall located at W3412 Chickadee Road, Loyal.
The proposed improvements consist of replacing the existing bridges and reconstructing approximately 300 feet of roadway at the bridge approaches. WisDOT was able to advance this project to allow for construction this summer. A detour route using WIS 13, WIS 29 and WIS 73 will be utilized during construction.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
