Crews now planning deck pour on Monday, June 30
Crews have rescheduled the deck pour for the McCleary Bridge due to an unfavorable weather forecast for Friday.
Crews plan to close the bridge at 4 a.m. on Monday, June 30. The bridge will remain closed while the concrete cures. Crews expect to reopen the bridge to one lane of traffic in each direction before the end of the day on Thursday, July 3.
“Every effort is being made to keep the project on schedule for completion in mid-July and to minimize impacts to local businesses and motorists,” explained Matt Bronson, Project Development Supervisor.
If crews are unable to complete the deck pour on Monday, the bridge closure will be rescheduled to take place during the week of July 7.
The bridge is currently open to one lane of traffic in each direction. The speed limit is reduced to 25 mph and each lane is restricted to 10 feet.
