Crews closing I-39/US 51 northbound and southbound lanes Thursday night May 15

Traffic will be detoured via Maple Ridge Road and old highway 51

Crews plan to close the northbound and southbound lanes of I-39 between the Maple Ridge Road interchange (Mosinee) and the Business 51 interchange (Rothschild) at 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. The lanes will reopen by 4 a.m., Friday, May 16.

During the full closure, traffic will be detoured via Maple Ridge Road and old highway 51.

The closure is necessary for crews to remove some of the existing Kowalski Road bridge.

The dates and times of the lane closure are dependent on favorable weather conditions and are subject to change.
