Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) Program
Hosted by the Turner- Fairbank Highway Research Center, the LTPP is the largest and most comprehensive pavement study in the world. Includes an online library of research reports, resource documents and results analysis briefs.
Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT)
Created by NAPA and Auburn University to improve hot mix asphalt performance through research, education and information services. Conducts research for state DOTs, FHWA, NCHRP, SHRP and the hot mix industry.
Superpave - AASHTO Innovative Highway Technologies
Information on the development and implementation of the Superpave system through the Strategic Highway Research Program.
Part of the National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University. Conducts research, training and technology transfer.
Central Superpave Center
Located at Purdue University. Established to assist with implementation of the Superpave performance based system for designing asphalt pavements. Conducts research, training and technology transfer. Web site features a Superpave Searchable Database.
Center of Excellence for Pavement Technology (NCEPT)
Located at the Pennsylvania Transportation Institute at Pennsylvania State University. Facilitates implementation and validation of Superpave technology by promoting partnering between governmental agencies, industry (including materials, suppliers, contractors and consultants) and universities throughout the Northeast.
Laboratories at Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center
Federal research facilities Located in McLean, Virginia. Research includes pavement and mixture design, construction, contracting and testing on an Accelerated Load Facility (ALF).
American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA)
Wisconsin Concrete Pavement Association (WCPA)
Promotes the use of concrete pavements for interstate highways, state and county highways, municipal streets, local roads and airports. Contains a pavement industry glossary and state requirements and practices.
American Concrete Institute
Provides extensive knowledge and information for the concrete industry. Site includes strategic plans for three to thirty years. Searchable databases of ACI Materials Journal, ACI Structural Journal and research reports. Online Manual of Concrete Practice and listing of seminars, conventions and committee meetings.
National Concrete Pavement Technology Center
Formerly, the Center for Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Technology at Iowa State, the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center works with partners to improve pavement design, mix and materials, construction, and maintenance to produce durable, cost-effective concrete pavements. The Center also publishes the Concrete Pavement Reporter.
