Motorcycles, mopeds, farm trucks, recreational vehicle trailers and low speed vehicles

Registration plates for motorcycles, mopeds, farm trucks and recreational vehicle trailers receive a year sticker only. The month is stamped on the license plate.

• Current motorcycle plates expire at the end of April in even years and have APR stamped in the lower left corner. Place the year sticker on the lower right corner. Older motorcycle plates issued before 2003 have WIS on the lower left corner and APR in the lower right corner. Place the year sticker in the lower center of the plate.

Applicable plate types are:

• Motorcycle - CYC
• Disabled Parking Cycle - DMC
• Veteran Motorcycle - VMC

• Current MOPED plates expire at the end of April in even years. Year stickers for mopeds are attached in the lower left hand corner of the license plate; the word "moped" is stamped in the lower right corner and may not be covered. Older moped plates issued before 2004 have WIS on the lower left corner and MOPED in the lower right corner. Place the year sticker in the lower center of the plate.

Applicable plate types are:

• Moped - MPD

• Light farm truck plates expire at the end of February in even years and have FEB stamped in the lower left corner. Place the year sticker on the lower right corner. (Farm trucks with special plates expire annually at different months and have both month and year stickers.)

  

  Applicable plate types are:

• Farm Motor Truck - FRM

• Current recreational vehicle trailer plates expire annually in April and have APR stamped in the lower left corner. (A few early plates did not have the APR stamp and were issued a month sticker.) Older recreational vehicle trailer plates have APR stamped in the upper right corner. Place the year sticker in the bottom left corner.

  

  Applicable plate types are:

• Recreational Vehicle Trailer - RVT

• Current low speed vehicle plates at the end of April in even years. Place the month sticker in the lower left corner of the plate, and place the year sticker in the lower right corner.

  

  Applicable plate types are:

• Low Speed Vehicle - LSV
