DMV customer service centers accept cash or checks only. Credit cards are accepted for online and phone transactions.

The 2007-2009 Wisconsin Biennial Budget (2007 ACT 20) increased some DMV fees effective January 1, 2008. Fees collected support the Department of Transportation budget.
