Federal changes to hazardous materials and “H” endorsements

The U.S. Patriot Act, passed as a result of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, impacts all commercial driver license (CDL) drivers who hold or apply for a hazmat "H" endorsement. In addition to an expanded list of hazardous materials, these new requirements will apply to hazmat drivers:
