First Wisconsin driver licenses and identification cards are mailed

Customers, age 18 or over, who are obtaining their first Wisconsin driver license or identification card will receive their card/license in the mail within 14 business days.

This procedure was implemented to help reduce the potential for identity theft and fraud.

You will be handed your renewed Wisconsin driver license or identification card at the DMV customer service center at the time of the transaction.
